A Maine Dog Rescue Holiday Pop Up
We are so excited to be hosting The Maine Dog Rescue this month at Good Things.
The Maine Dog Rescue is a foster- and volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters in the South and supporting Maine families making the difficult decision to rehome their pets. Our mission is to provide dogs with a safe, loving environment where they can experience “the way life should be.” As a donation-based organization, we are united by a shared commitment to giving every dog a second chance.
What to expect:

•Rescue info - learn how to foster, adopt, or volunteer
• DOGS! Meet some of their dogs currently available for adoption

The Maine Dog Rescue at The Mariners Hockey
Come join The Maine Dog Rescue at the Maine Mariners on Jan. 24th at 6pm!
The Maine Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates entirely through the dedication of our fosters and volunteers. Their mission is to provide safe, loving homes for dogs rescued from high-kill shelters in the South and give them a second chance to experience “the way life should be.” In addition to their rescue efforts, they are committed to helping local Maine families through the owner surrender program. The Maine Dog Rescue understands how difficult it can be to rehome a beloved pet, and they strive to make the process compassionate and supportive — ensuring every dog is placed in a home where they can truly thrive.

Fill the Bowl Drive & Raffle
Join The Maine Dog Rescue on Friday, November 8th from 10 AM – 1 PM at Tractor Supply in Holden, Maine for our Fill the Bowl Food Drive & Raffle!
We’ll be collecting dog food donations to help support local rescue dogs in foster care this winter.
Donate a 5 lb bag of dry food or a 6-pack of wet food and receive 5 raffle tickets for our prize drawing!
Raffle basket includes:
• Hannaford Gift Card
• Gas Card
• The Maine Dog Rescue sweatshirt
• Hand-painted ornament of your dog by a local artist
• Grooming coupons and more!
